It's ok to be selfish and want to carry on your DNA, but not to make a choice and not reproduce. It's ok to be smug about your own kids bc they are just oh so perfect and wonderful, but we can't be smug about our life and accomplishments. Right now, I have a summer job as a camp counselor for school-aged kids, and most of my co-workers know I won't be reproducing. But I gotta admit that I was annoyed to be bingoed by a 16 year old junior counselor this morning...she told me that I'd "regret" not having kids. Yeah, right!
